The Mayor's Challenge
This year I'm challenging schools, businesses, sports clubs and youth groups to get involved and raise money for the Mayor's Appeal. And to kick start the appeal, I've completed a challenge of my own!
A 30km+ Eastleigh Borough Challenge - travelling right across the borough under my own power, and visiting each of my amazing charities on the way.
Running 4km starting at Wessex Cancer Support in Chandlers Ford to 1216 Squadron Air Cadets at the Pavilion on the Park
Cycling 25km passing through each of the major settlements in Eastleigh Borough before arriving at Wetwheels Hamble
Kayak 5km by river and sea to visit the Borough's most Southerly point, finishing in Hamble. Jogging 4km, in the wind and the rain, to finish at Hamble Common - the Borough's most southerly point on land.

Wessex Cancer Support offers a sanctuary to people across Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, ensuring no one in our community has to face cancer alone.
The Air Cadets offers young people aged 12-20 opportunities to develop leadership, teamwork, and citizenship skills through activities related to aviation and the wider RAF.
Wetwheels provides the opportunity for all disabled people to access the sea in a safe, stimulating and rewarding way on board specially-built, fully-accessible powerboats.
